• The Scythiculian Deep is a location on Alternia, specifically the deep underwater world that the higher seadwellers live in for the early years of their lives. Even though she lives closer to/on land for political reasons, it's a sign of respect towards your superiors to verbally acknowledge their birthplace as it shows you recognise they are stronger by virtue of growing up in a more dangerous portion of the world. The name was based off of Oceanus Scythicus, which was an old name for the Kara Sea, a sea that Novaya Zemlya Russia. I chose this specific sea because Novaya Zemlya is identifiable if you look on the image of Alternia(it's upside down), and also because Scythicus looks like Scythe, and you know how those trolls love deadly weaponry in their titles and shit.
