Otherwise known as "Kar writes a bunch of characters she's never written before so they are all probably horrible renditions and shouldn't ever see the light of actual earth troll or cherub day"

Summery: Aradia begins collecting their fallen camrades, and worries over whether Sollux has been found yet.

The process to bringing one back to the alpha timeline and getting them to stick there was perplexing and difficult as it is, but she'd been arguing over the pros and cons with Rose almost all of several afternoons, and eventually the process was refined, and perfect, in theory. The only problem now was finding someone who was willing to go through the possible risks to test it out. There were thousands of dream bubbles, even after the main one had been destroyed, and it was only a matter of time before she ran across them-- but it was still a very difficult and time consuming process.

The strong presence of sand, and parchment led her to one of the smaller bubbles. There was a couple of small oasis looking places, but one specifically that looked like it was being splashed in. She readied herself for any monsters or whatever she might find, but instead, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Seated at the shoreline, with their clothes cut around the arms and knees to aid with the heat, sat Tavros and Vriska, the latter of which seemed to be rambling on about something the former wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to. He nodded occasionally, and seemed to mumble a word or two, but for the most part just let Vriska talk. When she flew closer, he noticed her and smiled.

"Aradia?!" He called out, effectively cutting Vriska off and bringing all attention to her. Vriska seemed surprised, but that smug little grin of hers made it's way to her lips as well. Both were standing when she touched down, and Tavros was the first to action, pulling her into a hug.

"Hello Tavros, it's good to see you too," She smiled. "I see you managed to keep her out of trouble,"

"Oh please," Vriska's eyes rolled, her hand coming to rest on her hip. "I don't need anyone to keep me out of trouble, especially Pupa," Aradia glanced at Tavros but he just shrugged, that smile still on his lips. "Looks like you managed to go godtier," she continued, inspecting her nails. "Of course, if I hadn't killed you in the first place, it would've never happened,"

"So sort of like how you went godtier then?" She questioned in mock innocence, and the affronted look on Vriska's face only lasted a second before melting into a sort of thinly veiled respect.

"Are we even then?"

"We've been even for a while, actually,"

"So, as great as it is, to see you," Tavros cut in. "Exactly, what are you here for? You never were one for, um, being spontaneous without, some reason,"

"Oh! Well I have some news," She smiled, rocking back and forth on her feet. "We've won the game!" She continued with her story, told how they'd trained for a little under a sweep and a half, how they'd met up with the scratch session kids, how their true enemy had shown himself, how they took down the Condescension, all of it. Tavros seemed relieved, at least, to know that no one had to fight anymore.

"So what's this got to do with us?" Vriska asked, more than a little annoyed, and Aradia could sort of understand why. She'd always been one for the spotlight, after all, and not playing any part in the 'final battle' as it were seemed to be grating against her. Aradia still thought it was childish. "You beat the bad guy, we're in endgame, and we're dead. There's not even a point in trying ot find a way back if there's no reason to be there in the first place."

"But we want you back," Aradia said as clearly as she could. "We've beaten the game, yes, but it still feels empty. We can't bring back our lusi, or guardians... but we think we can figure out a way to trick the game into keeping former players alive and around in the alpha timeline,"

Tavros and Vriska exchanged glances, as if talking it over, and given their combined powers, Aradia wondered briefly if that was even possible. They certainly seemed closer... though she supposed a sweep and a half of dealing with each other would have that affect on someone. In the end, Tavros shrugged and gave her a smile. "Sure. I'm in,"

"Hold on there, pupa, do we even know if this is going to work?" Vriska argued. "I'm all for taking wild risks, but we have to play our cards right; if we die again, we're dead for good,"

Tavros rose an eyebrow, and smirked. It was the Vriska smirk, the one that said she had all the cards. It looked like they'd had a lot more influence over each other than Aradia had previously thought possible. Though she supposed she was a bit biased in this regard. "Am I hearing this?" He asked. "Am I seriously, hearing this. Wow, I'm sorry, Aradia, I didn't think Vriska would be so, scared,"

And that was when Vriska blew up. "What?!" She yelled in indignation. Aradia had to cover her mouth to hide her smile. It didn't work out so well. "I'm not scared!"

"What, was that?" Tavros grinned, hand cupping his ear, his whole frame leaning towards Vriska as if he were hard of hearing. "I'm sorry, all I hear is, cluckbeast," They squabbled for a bit more before before deciding that they'd go through it, but only if someone else went through it first.

"Fair enough," Aradia nodded; She'd expected this sort of outcome, really. "Shall we go then? This was my first stop, and we still have a lot more to pick up." She took Tavros' hand while he held onto Vriska's, and they took off into the air, pulling out of the bubble with a pop. A soft beeping alerted her to a message having reached her computer. She turned on the ear piece they'd alchemized specifically for communications within the bubbles.

"This is Ruby East, calling Gospel Majyyks, come in Gospel Magyyks,"

"Gospel Majyyks here. Just retrieved Two and Eight, but they're reluctant to go first."

"Two and eight?" Tavros questioned.

"Well that's understandable, it's not like we're sure it'll happen in the first place! Rose says Twelve should be nearby, maybe she'd be a bit more willing?"

"I'll see how it goes," Vriska looked at Tavros, and he just shrugged. They may have been flarping partners, but that didn't mean he knew what went through her mind.

"Great! Keep an eye out for a fuchsia bubble, it should be within a time-distorted space league of your current location."

"Got it. GM, over and out," She turned to her companions and smiled. "Shall we go pick up Feferi, then?"

As it turned out, Feferi was all for the idea. "It's fun in the bubbles and all, but running into so many doomed and gone fronds is reely starting to get to me," She'd admitted. Their next stop was an alternate timeline, which was difficult to maneuver through and find, and took the most time, but in the end, they'd managed to find Feferi, curled up next to a splatter of Sollux's blood with her face buried in her arms; Eridan was a little ways away, her trident sticking out of his chest, and his eyes half lidded and dead. It had taken some convincing to get her to come along, but they managed it, and taking her hand as well, she called for Jade to open a portal, and back in the lab they went.

The process itself was perfect in theory, but was for the most part based off of a technique Rose had used to fuse her two dreamselves when one of the kid's timelines had gone off track. "It's mostly in the visualization," she said. "Hold onto each other, and keep telling yourself that you're real, you're alive, you're one being," She then pointed to a machine that hadn't been there when Aradia had left. "When you're in sync, walk into that machine, count to ten, and then exit. If we worked the science and magic right, it should work."

"Should?" Came a drunken slur from Roxy at the control panel of the machine. "Nononononono this'll totes work. Totes," She took a sip from her martini and hiccuped before one hand moved was too fast for anyone who was inebriated across the keyboard, and the machine clicked to life. "S'all ready to go, just pop your cutie booty inside and we're rockin'!"

Roxy's presence didn't exactly strike as a vote of confidence-- and it was obvious that both Feferis were a little more than anxious because of it-- but they took deep breaths, and puffed out their chests all majestic-like(Aradia was sure she'd learned that from Eridan), and took a step inside the machine. She was in the pod for a total of 20 minutes as lights flashed away, some sort of code spritzing on the screen, and Aradia fervently wished Sollux could be here to make sure nothing went wrong, even if it wasn't plausible in any sense of the light, because the idea that Feferi might not emerge whole and in tact made Aradia's gut churn for unknown reasons.

After those 20 minutes of forever, the doors on the other side opened up, and Feferi stepped out, clothed in the garments she died in, chest-hole and all, but very much in tact and alive. She was a bit older too, the physical age a seven-something troll would look. Her fins fluttered a bit, she smiled, and excitement could be felt all over the room; mostly through Roxy proposing a congratulations toast, and Tavros and Vriska's cheers.

"Shit, this might actually work! Alright, alright, me next!"

"Haha, if you're that impatient, we can, go in together, and--"

"Nope, nuh-uh, don't even finish that thought, pupa, we are not going there, and that's final."

"What, didn't like sharing, a body with me, or something?"

"Tavros, Shut up!"

"You, shut up!"

Both trolls tumbled to the floor in a mixture of laugh-yells, and began to roll this way and that, attempting to pin each other. The others looked on in amusement as Aradia considered her options. On one hand, she could leave them here and gather their timeline counterparts faster. Tavros would be easy enough to retrieve, he trusted Aradia pretty well regardless which timeline she reached. Vriska however... that one would be a bit more difficult. She'd need someone Vriska trusted to explain things, and the only one who Aradia could even think of that fit that description was Vriska herself...

"Aradia," She snapped up form her thoughts to see Feferi had moved close enough that Aradia could see the Tyrian in her eyes just starting to peak through. Her own had turned Maroon soon after she'd godtiered, but she supposed the fact that Feferi was destined to outlive them all slowed down the progression of a few certain traits.

"Yes?" She blinked, trying to distract herself from that thought. "Oh! You have questions, don't you,"

"Yes um..." She fidgeted a bit, and Aradia attested it to the girl's recent experience. She herself was a bit odd when she'd returned to life. "Who survived exactly? Tavros, Vriska, and I didn't, obviously, but we were the only cullsualties, right?" She seemed almost hopeful. Aradia hated to crush her hopes, but there wasn't any reason to hold the truth from her.

"No, you weren't," She said softly, continuing before the princess' expression could fall any further. "But not everyone died. I came back, and Kanaya did as well! And then there's Karkat, and Terezi, and Gamzee..." she grimaced a bit. "But be a bit wary of him, he's not as sweet as he used to be, and if you have any problems with him go to Karkat, he can usually keep him in line."

"What about Solfish?" She murmured, looking a bit scared, and Aradia had to think a minute to realize Feferi was talking about Sollux. Then, she had to remind herself that they'd had some sort of thing after she'd exploded, and that Feferi had watched the yellowblood get KO'd in both streams. She'd probably thought he was dead, at the time.

"Sollux..." She started, pursing her lip. He always had been a bit difficult. "He's not exactly dead, but... we say he's half dead. You'd think he'd be up for a corpse party, but no," she huffed a bit before looking over to Rose in silent inquiry. The girl just shook her head before returning to her chore of attempting to strife the alcohol away from her not-guardian. "He's actually missing right now, has been ever since we landed... if you can find him, that would be wonderful, he's got my mind away form my work as it is."

"Don't worry then," Feferi nodded, smiling brightly at her. "I'll fin him if it takes all glubbing week!"

"Good to hear," Aradia smiled before a knock on the door had her turning her attention to Jade.

"I located more bubbles. You ready to head out yet? Oh! Hi Feferi!!" She waved at the troll who waved back excitedly.

"Let me take care of Vriska and Tavros, and then I'll head out," Aradia replied, Jade nodding at her before disappearing back into the confines of the ship. Aradia made sure too pull Vriska and Tavros off each other before departing for the timestream.
